Stellantis sold 6,369 camper units in Spain during the first nine months of 2026, taking a 53% share of a market that grew 14.6%. Its line-up covers compact vehicles for everyday use as well as larger van conversions, with advertised prices starting at €32,000.
The figures cover Stellantis Pro One models across Fiat Professional, Citroën, Peugeot and Opel. The group has spent two decades offering vehicles adapted for camper use, from basic conversions to versions equipped for longer trips. The headline starting price belongs to the Peugeot Rifter by Tinkervan; larger, more fully equipped conversions cost considerably more. The offer gives buyers two routes into camper travel: standard vans adapted by specialist converters, or purpose-designed motorhome chassis.
At the compact end, the Rifter by Tinkervan starts at €32,000. Its Flexibed Sport system can leave the boot clear or make a single bed with room for sports gear. It also converts into a full bed. A pop-up roof adds another sleeping area, and swivel seats with a folding table create a small lounge.
The Citroën Holidays, based on the SpaceTourer, offers sleeping space for four. Its pop-up roof contains a 1.20-metre-wide, 1.95-metre-long bed; the bench seat converts into a second bed for two. Inside, a kitchen and sink are paired with a 16-litre fridge and removable table. Swivelling front seats help create a seating area, while Webasto heating is available for colder conditions. The starting price is €57,800.
For buyers needing a larger base vehicle, the FIAT Ducato has more than 40 years of history in European caravanning. Stellantis describes it as Europe’s best-selling motorhome base. Specialists can convert the standard van, while dedicated motorhome chassis are designed around recreational-vehicle layouts. The company says they make more efficient use of interior space and improve stability. The Fiat Ducato Camper’s listed driver-assistance equipment includes automatic emergency braking and an intelligent speed assistant, alongside lane-keeping assistance. Its Captain Chair front seats swivel when parked, joining the cab with the lounge.
The Opel Zafira by Tinkervan starts at €39,000 and keeps five seats for everyday driving. Its panoramic pop-up roof has a two-metre bed, and the interior can be rearranged to provide extra sleeping space. Depending on specification, equipment may include an auxiliary battery with LED lighting, an electric shower, stationary heating or a kitchen module.
Barcelona-based Nomade Nation builds its Neo, Neo S, Space and Space S ranges on the Fiat Ducato, with prices starting at €73,500. The conversions feature Nordic-inspired finishes and 20-millimetre Kaiflex insulation, with layouts sleeping up to four occupants. Heating and a kitchen are among the available features, as is a bathroom. Fiat Professional has more than 6,500 workshops across Europe, including 1,800 in the specialist Fiat Camper Assistance network.
Fiat has also featured in a separate story about the Chinese Multipla twin. Here, the practical distinction is between compact conversions and larger vans built around the Ducato. Stellantis Pro One also provides round-the-clock European roadside assistance and works with specialist converters.
