OMODA & JAECOO will pull the wraps off the OMODA 4 and a new OMODA 5 at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. Both SUVs are due in Spain in 2027, as the brand looks to tighten its grip on the C-SUV market.

OMODA & JAECOO is lining up two new SUVs for Europe. The OMODA 4 and a new OMODA 5 will break cover at the Paris Motor Show in October 2026. Both models are set to arrive in Spain the following year. The brand is pushing hard to carve out a bigger slice of the C-SUV market, where rivals are everywhere and electric models are changing the game fast.

The OMODA 5 has already made its mark in Spain. More than 30,000 units have been sold since launch. Now, its successor is on the way. OMODA plans to reveal full details in Paris. The goal is simple. Stay sharp and keep up in a segment that leads European sales and is now packed with electrified choices.

In September 2026, OMODA and JAECOO together captured 4.3% of the Spanish passenger car market, surpassing MG and closing in on BYD in monthly sales.

The OMODA 4 is a new entry. It is aimed at younger buyers and those looking for something fresh. Technical and commercial details are still under wraps. OMODA has made it clear: this model is key to growing its European footprint. The full reveal will happen in Paris. The message is clear. OMODA wants a bigger role in one of Europe’s toughest car markets.

These launches are part of a bigger story. OMODA & JAECOO started in April 2023. In less than three years, the company has sold over one million vehicles worldwide. Europe is now a major growth engine. Nearly half of all global sales come from this region. In 2026 alone, sales in Europe jumped by more than 250%. The numbers show why Spain and the rest of Europe matter so much to the brand.

Spain is not just another market. The OMODA 5’s quick rise has given the brand a strong base and real visibility on Spanish roads. With both the new OMODA 5 and the OMODA 4 set for 2027, OMODA is doubling down. The company is betting on a market that has already welcomed its cars.

According to data from leading Spanish automotive publications, OMODA & JAECOO registered 29,475 vehicles in Spain from January to September 2026, marking an 80.8% increase over the same period the previous year. This surge was supported not only by the OMODA 5, which accounted for 12,210 registrations, but also by strong performances from models like JAECOO 5, JAECOO 7, OMODA 7, and OMODA 9.

The Paris Motor Show runs from 12 to 18 October 2026 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. It will be the stage for these launches. The event will bring together over 100 exhibitors and more than 60 carmakers. The show covers 70,000 square meters indoors. Press day is 12 October. The public gets in after that.

This SUV push is part of a wider shift in Europe. Madrid is moving ahead with robotaxis. Lawmakers are working on unified self-driving rules, as reported earlier. Brands like OMODA & JAECOO are racing to update their lineups and stay in the game.

All specs, versions, tech packages, prices, and launch dates for the OMODA 4 and new OMODA 5 will be announced in Paris. For now, one thing is clear. OMODA & JAECOO is not settling for a minor role in Europe’s SUV market. The company’s fast sales growth, focus on Spain, and investment in new models show it wants to take on the big names. The real test comes in 2027. That’s when Spanish buyers will see if these new SUVs live up to the promise.
