July’s PlayStation Plus game catalog mixes recent releases with classic titles. The additions include Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Rise of the Ronin for PlayStation 5, along with Firefighting Simulator: Ignite and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind.
In Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, players explore Pandora’s Western Frontier as a Na’vi raised by the human Resources Development Administration (RDA). The story follows the protagonist’s return to Na’vi culture and efforts to protect their homeland. The game pairs first-person combat with open-world exploration in a setting shaped by the conflict between the RDA and Pandora’s Indigenous communities.
Developed by Team Ninja, Rise of the Ronin is an action role-playing game set in 19th-century Japan amid political upheaval and conflict. Players take the role of a ronin and make choices that shape their path through a changing country. Its combat and historical setting draw on themes and action design from Team Ninja’s earlier games, including Nioh and Ninja Gaiden.
Firefighting Simulator: Ignite shifts the focus to emergency response and teamwork. Players join a firefighting crew in a Midwestern American city, tackling fires and other emergencies together. Built with Unreal Engine 5, the game supports cooperative multiplayer for up to four players. Communication and coordination are basic to its missions.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind brings the original Power Rangers into a time-bending story featuring Robo Rita and Rita Repulsa. Its 2D action blends fighting with beat-’em-up gameplay as the villains try to alter the past and prevent the team from forming. The game is available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will also receive two PlayStation 2-era titles: Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy and Indigo Prophecy. Psi-Ops follows a protagonist who uses abilities such as telekinesis and mind control while uncovering a covert conspiracy. Indigo Prophecy, known as Fahrenheit in some regions, is a narrative-focused thriller built around branching events and player decisions.
The July additions cover several genres, from open-world action and historical role-playing to cooperative firefighting, arcade-style combat and older narrative-driven games. The two PS2 titles join the classics offering in the Premium tier, while availability and catalog access can vary by region and plan.
Sony publishes monthly catalog announcements on the official PlayStation Blog. On October 14, 2026, Adam Michel, Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Senior Director of Content Acquisition & Operations, announced that month’s selection under the headline “PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for October: Mafia: The Old Country, Horizon Forbidden West, Mycopunk and more.”
