RTVE unveiled its Benidorm Fest lineup at a press conference at the Prado del Rey studios in Madrid on 14 October 2026, with the selected performers in attendance. The broadcaster described the field as 18 artists, though the published list contains 19 names.
The acts listed are Alba Morena and Andrés Koi; Bombai and Chema Rivas; Dani Dicostas and Fran Tuduri; GALE and Isabel Aaiún; Ladilla Rusa and Merche; Pipiolas and Polo Nández; Sebastián Llosa and ROSSA; Sara Abad and Sev’s; and Suzete, Tami Tamako and Vicco.
More than 1,000 applications were submitted. The festival runs from 23 to 30 January 2027. The first semi-final is scheduled for Tuesday 26 January, followed by the second on Thursday 28 January. Artists who qualify will compete in the final on Saturday 30 January.
Several contestants have already made a name for themselves outside the festival. Vicco competed in the second edition and is known for “Nochentera”. Isabel Aaiún’s “La potra salvaje” became the unofficial anthem of Spain’s national team in 2024. Ladilla Rusa bring satirical pop to the lineup, while Merche is known for “Abre tu mente”.
Alba Morena has written songs for Ana Torroja and Luz Casal. Andrés Koi was formerly in Dvicio, while Bombai, a pop-rock trio, has collaborated with Bebe. Chema Rivas has worked with Juan Magán and Antonio José. GALE has collaborated with Shakira and Christina Aguilera, as well as with Juanes and Aitana.
Dani Dicostas is an indie-pop artist with three albums, while Fran Tuduri is a self-taught musician. Pipiolas mix pop and house, with techno-pop and punk also in their sound. Polo Nández and Sebastián Llosa are competing as a duo.
ROSA competed on Factor X. Sara Abad appeared on OT 2023 and La Voz Kids. Sev’s blends urban and electronic sounds with melodic pop, while Tami Tamako is known for K-pop choreography.
Benidorm Fest builds towards a final after two semi-finals, unlike civic celebrations such as Zaragoza’s flower offering. Past winners include Chanel and Blanca Paloma. Nebulossa and Melody have also won, while Tony Grox and Lucycalys took the title as a duo.
Tickets for the public go on sale next November.
