Friday is expected to bring mostly clear skies. Highs will again reach 33°C, with lows near 18°C. The heat should feel much the same. The official forecast matches recent yellow heat warnings for the province, as reported by EFE, with AEMET maintaining alerts for highs between 34°C and 38°C in the region.
By the weekend, Seville will shift back into full summer. Saturday will start clear, with temperatures rising to highs of 34°C and lows of 20°C. Sunday could be even hotter, with forecasts pointing to 36°C during the day and 21°C at night. Winds will turn easterly, but the basic story is the persistent sun and building heat. Meteorologists attribute this to a warm subtropical air mass over southern Spain, while the north faces rain and storms.
Elsewhere in Andalusia, the weather varies. Jerez de la Frontera will see a cloudy morning that clears by midday, with temperatures from 19°C to 28°C. Huelva will have clear skies in the morning, some clouds later, and similar temperatures, with lows of 18°C and highs of 28°C. Recent AEMET advisories for Andalusia have included strong-wind and coastal-phenomena alerts, as well as heat warnings, pointing to locally adverse conditions beyond high temperatures.
