Jeep Avenger 2027: update, new engine and anniversary edition for 26,000 euros. Jeep has unveiled the updated Avenger 2027 for Europe: a new exterior, enhanced equipment, a fresh petrol engine, and a special series marking the brand’s 85th anniversary. The starting price in Spain is 26,000 euros before discounts.
The Jeep Avenger 2027 is entering the market with significant changes: the compact SUV, which became the brand's best-selling vehicle in Spain in 2025 (7,965 registrations), has received an updated design, an expanded engine lineup, and a special anniversary edition. According to Autobild, the manufacturer aims to maintain its leadership in the segment and strengthen its position in the European market.
The Avenger's appearance has become more expressive: the front bumper has been redesigned, Jeep's signature seven-slot grille now features a modern interpretation, and protective elements emphasize the model's off-road character. The headlights have been updated, with new options for wheel designs and body colors available. The cabin retains its previous architecture, but the materials and finishes are now of higher quality, and the multimedia system with a 10.25-inch screen now offers enhanced features and an updated interface. The digital instrument cluster remains one of the key components of the interior.
Jeep has focused on practicality: the cabin offers 34 liters of storage space for small items, and the layout is designed for city life while allowing for versatile use. Among the new options are additional driver assistance features and improved active safety systems.
Engines and new technologies
The Jeep Avenger 2027 engine lineup includes both hybrid and electric versions. The base hybrid modification, the e-Hybrid, is equipped with a 1.2-liter engine producing 110 hp, a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, and a six-speed automatic transmission. The more powerful version — 145 hp and 4xe all-wheel drive — uses an additional electric motor on the rear axle and retains the ECO environmental certification.
The electric version remains one of the most popular: 156 hp, a 54 kWh battery, and a range of up to 400 km on the WLTP cycle. Fast charging supports up to 100 kW, allowing for a quick recharge.
The main technical innovation is the new Turbo 100 gasoline engine from Stellantis. This three-cylinder 1.2-liter unit with 101 hp replaces the previous PureTech engines, offering improved reliability and efficiency. It is paired with a six-speed manual and is aimed at those who prefer classic solutions.
Anniversary series and prices
For the 85th anniversary of the brand, Jeep has prepared a special Avenger 85º Aniversario edition. It features exclusive exterior and interior details: illuminated grille, unique badges, 18-inch wheels, matrix headlights, a 360-degree camera, and a signature hood sticker. The base for the anniversary series is the Altitude trim (or Upland for the 4xe).
In Spain, the starting price of the Jeep Avenger 2027 is 26,000 euros, excluding government subsidies and promotions. The first vehicles will be delivered to customers in September. For comparison, competition in the compact hatchback segment is also intensifying: as shown in a recent analysis of the key parameters of the Volkswagen Golf and Hyundai i30 on the Spanish market, buyers are increasingly choosing between status, practicality, and technology.
The updated Avenger 2027 highlights Jeep's drive to adapt to European demands: a blend of recognizable style, versatile engine options, and modern features makes the model a notable player in the urban SUV class. The anniversary edition may attract collectors and brand enthusiasts, while the new gasoline engine appeals to those seeking a balance between efficiency and the traditional driving experience.
