Toyota has rolled out a major update for the Corolla in Spain. The lineup now includes a 60th Anniversary edition, the return of the Style trim, and more GR SPORT choices. Prices start at 25,450 euros for the five-door.

Toyota has shaken up the Spanish car market with a fresh Corolla lineup. The big news is the 60th Anniversary edition and a wider GR SPORT range. Even after 60 years and more than 57 million cars sold worldwide, the Corolla is not slowing down.

The 60th Anniversary edition is the highlight. It comes in both the five-door Hybrid 140 and the Touring Sports, which can be ordered with either the Hybrid 140 or Hybrid 200. This special model gets a two-tone Azul 60 Aniversario paint job, unique 17-inch alloy wheels, and a badge on the rear doors. Inside, there are custom floor mats, door sills, chrome trim, and a panoramic Skyview roof. All these touches mark six decades of Corolla history. Toyota Europe Newsroom says this edition is part of a bigger European campaign called "60 YEARS. 12 GENERATIONS. ONE COROLLA." The focus is global, not just on Spain.

The 60th Anniversary edition is offered not only in Spain but across multiple European markets, available for both the Hatchback and Touring Sports body styles.

Toyota has also brought back the Style trim for the five-door Corolla, paired with the Hybrid 140 engine. This version now packs more safety tech: Blind Spot Monitor, Safe Exit Assist, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. The Style trim adds 17-inch alloy wheels, recycled fabric and synthetic suede seats, Bi-LED headlights, and the Nanoe X air system. The Touring Sports gets a hands-free power tailgate. Both body styles can be ordered with the Skyview panoramic roof. The Sedan, in Style Plus trim, now comes with a standard sunroof. Independent car outlets report that the return of the Style trim and the new 60th Anniversary edition are part of a push to update the Corolla lineup with better safety and more features, especially for Spain.

Fans of sporty models have more to choose from. The GR SPORT now comes with Blind Spot Monitor, Safe Exit Assist, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert as standard on both the five-door and Touring Sports. The Touring Sports also gets a hands-free electric tailgate. For the first time, the GR SPORT Plus trim is available on the five-door Hybrid 140, offering even more equipment than the regular GR SPORT. Sector publications say these changes are part of Toyota's plan to keep the Corolla sharp and appealing to a wide range of buyers.

Under the hood, the Corolla still offers the Hybrid 140 and Hybrid 200 engines, depending on the body and trim. Buyers can pick from three body types: five-door, Touring Sports, and Sedan. The trims—Active, Style, Style 60 Aniversario, GR SPORT, and GR SPORT Plus—are matched to each engine and body, giving customers more choice than before. Toyota UK Media points out that the Corolla is still one of the world's best-selling cars. The 60th Anniversary campaign puts the spotlight on its 12 generations and ongoing updates.

Independent reviews confirm that the 60th Anniversary versions are limited special editions featuring unique colors, commemorative badges, 17–18-inch wheels, and expanded equipment, distinguishing them from standard cosmetic packages.

Prices for the new Corolla in Spain start at 25,450 euros for the five-door Active, 27,450 euros for the Touring Sports, and 30,050 euros for the Sedan in Style Plus trim. Toyota is also pushing its Easy Plus program, which offers the range from 150 euros a month. This includes four years of warranty and maintenance under certain conditions.

This big update comes as the market for hybrids and special editions heats up. Renault, for example, recently launched its limited Rafale hypnotic SUV, as reported earlier. It shows that Spanish buyers are looking for more exclusive models.

By mixing a special edition with better safety, revived trims, and more sporty options, Toyota is aiming at both loyal fans and new buyers. The Corolla’s strong sales are no accident. This update shows Toyota knows how to keep its top seller in tune with what Spanish drivers want. The 60th Anniversary edition is not just a look back—it signals Toyota’s plans for the future of hybrid cars in Spain.
