Two Spanish towns landed impressive prizes in the Euromillones draw on Tuesday, July 21. A ticket validated in Ulldecona, Tarragona, won €250,104.37, while Artana, Castellón, celebrated a new millionaire through the Spanish El Millón prize.
The Ulldecona ticket was purchased at the town’s Administration of Lotteries No. 1, at Mayor, 80. It won in the Second Category (5 + 1), matching five basic numbers and one of the two Lucky Stars. The separate El Millón code, which awards €1 million to one Spanish ticket holder, was validated at Despacho Receptor No. 23.400 in Artana, at Avda. Sierra Espadán, 63. The town is known for its “bous al carrer” events, in which cattle run through the streets during traditional festivities.
No ticket matched all five basic numbers and both Lucky Stars for the First Category (5 + 2), so the jackpot rolls over, with €70 million on offer in the next draw. The winning combination was 02, 03, 08, 28 and 39, with Lucky Stars 02 and 11. The El Millón code was DSL64791. El Millón is a separate Spanish prize draw, distinct from the Euromillones 5 + 2 jackpot.
Euromillones draws take place twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. In Spain, Loterías y Apuestas del Estado (SELAE) publishes the winning combination and prize categories, as well as the locations where Spanish tickets were validated, through its official channels. Players can check their tickets and prize details there. The record fine imposed on AliExpress by the European Commission concerns a separate regulatory matter and has no connection to the lottery draw.
Artana’s “bous al carrer” tradition gives the win added local significance, while the Ulldecona prize brings another large payout to Tarragona. With the next Euromillones jackpot set at €70 million, players across Spain will be watching the coming draw for a chance to match all five numbers and both stars.
