The Generalitat has approved €20 million in emergency support after Dana Adam, including €10 million for vehicles declared a total loss. Applications open on 2 November 2026 and close on 1 February 2027.

A car declared a total loss as a direct consequence of Dana Adam may qualify for up to €2,000 under one of two emergency decrees the Consell approved on 23 October 2026. The €20 million in aid is intended for damage along the southern Valencian coast and in northern Alicante. Half is for vehicle losses and half for business recovery.

Vehicle grants range from €200 to €15,000, depending on the type of vehicle. A standard passenger car can receive up to €2,000. The maximum rises to €2,500 for a car adapted for a person with reduced mobility. Vans can receive up to €5,000, while the cap for trucks is €9,000. Buses and coaches can receive up to €15,000. Mopeds and motorhomes are also eligible, as are trailers. The programme covers private cars and agricultural vehicles, as well as vehicles used for economic activity. Each applicant may claim for every eligible vehicle they lost, but no vehicle can receive more than one grant.

The separate €10 million business fund offers a fixed €10,000 per company, regardless of an individual assessment of losses. It is open to businesses in municipalities named in the decree that can show direct flood damage to premises, facilities, equipment or stock, or an producing results interruption or restriction of operations. Agriculture has been allocated €6 million. Retail gets €2.5 million, tourism €1 million and industry €500,000. The fixed grant is meant to help keep economic activity running and support its recovery.

Storm Adam brought severe flooding to eastern Spain. Euronews reported rainfall of up to 700 litres per square metre in 24 hours in parts of Valencia. Floodwater submerged roads and swept away parked cars. The vehicle scheme covers disaster losses, not factory expansion such as Stellantis's European plans. Both aid lines can be combined with other grants or compensation, provided the total does not exceed the declared damage or expense.

The October 2024 DANA offers a recent precedent for vehicle-loss assistance in the region. Levante-EMV reported that about 119,000 vehicles were declared total losses in southern Valencian municipalities after that disaster. Support included indemnities from Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros and Generalitat aid of up to €4,000 for passenger cars. The basic government’s Reinicia Auto+ scheme also offered up to €10,000 toward a replacement vehicle. Antena 3 reported that Consorcio insurance indemnities for the 2024 disaster exceeded €5.1 billion.

Applications for both Adam schemes run from 2 November 2026 to 1 February 2027. Businesses seeking business aid must apply online through the Generalitat's electronic office. Companies seeking vehicle aid must also apply electronically. Individuals can apply online or in person at PROP offices, affected municipalities' registries or other legally authorised locations.
