Inés Sastre’s Son Diego Korrias: A Life Between Paris, Madrid and Sotogrande

The Heir of Inés Sastre: The Secret Life of a Handsome Student in Elite Sotogrande

The famous model’s son leads a private life away from the spotlight. He grew up far from camera flashes and rarely appears in public. Find out more about his story.

In a world where the lives of celebrities and their children unfold under the watchful eyes of the cameras, the story of Diego Corrias is almost an anomaly. The son of Spanish supermodel Inés Sastre and Italian entrepreneur Alex Corrias, who came of age last year, remains a mystery to the general public. His parents shielded him from excessive attention from an early age, allowing him to grow up in a peaceful environment and receive an excellent education. The result is evident: today, Diego comes across as a refined and well-mannered young man who values his privacy above all.

Recently, the young man completed his first year at university, marking a major milestone in his life. Inés Sastre approaches this new chapter with a touch of melancholy, openly admitting to feeling the ’empty nest syndrome.’ Nevertheless, she understands her son’s desire for independence, recalling that she too, as a young woman, set out to conquer Paris and study at the Sorbonne. Their close and trusting relationship was on display at a recent social event in Madrid, where they appeared together, offering a rare example of a strong family bond.

Although Diego spent his childhood and youth in Paris, a few years ago, in 2020, Inés decided to move to Spain. This decision was motivated by her desire for her son to connect more deeply with his Spanish roots and to see his relatives more often. The family traditionally spends the summer months in Sotogrande—a prestigious enclave on the coast of Cádiz, long favored by affluent people from across Europe. Hidden from prying eyes amid lush nature, this place is perfect for a peaceful retreat and for golf, a passion of the former muse of Chanel and Lancôme.

Inés Sastre herself, who will turn 52 this fall, now leads a much more measured life than at the height of her dazzling career. Her days of starring in major films, including working with notable directors such as Carlos Saura and Andy Garcia, are behind her—her last film was released back in 2007. Today, she finds joy in simple things and in spending time with close friends, especially Beatriz of Orléans, and she happily shares nostalgic glimpses of her brilliant modeling career on social media, recalling magazine covers and iconic runway shows.
