Italian aristocrat, photographer, and writer Paola Marzotto has once again visited Spain, a country to which she has been closely attached since childhood. Recently, she spent several days in Asturias, enjoying the serenity and natural beauty of the region. Her fondness for Spain dates back to her youth, when she visited the Prado Museum (Museo del Prado) in Madrid and socialized with aristocratic circles during Franco’s regime.
Paola, daughter of renowned Italian socialite Marta Marzotto and Count Umberto Marzotto, built her own career as a photographer and journalist. She is also actively involved in social causes, with a particular focus on climate change issues. Currently, Marzotto splits her time between two continents, living in both Milan and the Uruguayan resort of Punta del Este.
Recently, Paola Marzotto made her debut as a writer, releasing her first novel titled «Narciso Perverso. Amore Fatale». In the book, she explores complex themes of toxic relationships and personal crises, drawing deeply on self-reflection and her own life experience. According to her, working on the novel proved to be a form of therapy. She is already working on a new biographical project, continuing her literary pursuits.
In a recent interview with the press, Marzotto spoke warmly about her children, Carlo Ludovico and Beatrice Borromeo. She emphasized that she has always instilled in them the values of hard work, honesty, and mutual support, which have become the foundation of their strong bond. Paola admitted that she raised her children alone, taking on both maternal and paternal roles. She describes her parenting style as strict, but always filled with love and care.
Reflecting on the topics discussed in her book, Marzotto also touched on what she believes is a pressing issue—the crisis of male identity in modern society. She believes that many men today struggle with self-definition, which often leads to complicated and destructive relationships. Paola Marzotto continues to lead an active life, rich in cultural interests and social responsibility, remaining a vibrant and multifaceted personality.
