Santa Teresa Gourmet Launches Limited-Edition Sweets Inspired by Rosalía Lux Album

Rosalía’s new album inspires a bold dessert twist: Spanish sweets meet Sauvignon Blanc in an unexpected collaboration

Santa Teresa Gourmet has unveiled a limited edition of its signature eggs, inspired by the Rosalía Lux album. The new recipe features Sauvignon Blanc, and the packaging reflects the album’s distinctive visual style. Fans and gourmets have already snapped up the first batch.

Spanish singer Rosalía is once again in the spotlight following the release of her new album, Lux. The project quickly became not just a musical sensation, but a cultural phenomenon blending mysticism, symbolism, and references to historical figures. Inspired by this, the confectionery producer Santa Teresa Gourmet from Ávila created an unusual twist on their traditional yemas de Santa Teresa, adding Sauvignon Blanc white wine to the classic recipe.

The idea was born after the name of Santa Teresa de Jesús, a symbol of spiritual liberation, was mentioned in one of the album’s songs. The brand’s team saw an opportunity to merge tradition with modernity, offering Rosalía’s fans and dessert lovers something truly new. Thus, Yemas de Lux appeared—a treat where heritage meets contemporary pop culture.

Inspired by music and a modern approach

The Santa Teresa Gourmet marketing team chose not just to alter the recipe, but to completely rethink the product. The classic base of egg yolk and sugar remains, but now it’s enhanced by an elegant touch—aromatic white wine, which lends the dessert a fresh citrus flavor. After being chilled for 24 hours to achieve the perfect texture, each yolk is covered with a delicate glaze reminiscent of the white veil on the Lux album cover.

The visual aspect did not go unnoticed either. For the limited edition, a minimalist packaging in blue and white tones was created, inspired by the album’s aesthetic. The brand’s logo was styled to resemble the album cover, instantly catching the attention of both Rosalía’s fans and collectors of unique sweets.

A frenzy and instant sell-out

The first batch of Yemas de Lux, comprising about 500 boxes of 160 grams each, sold out almost immediately. Interest in the new release was so high that the manufacturer had to urgently adjust the production schedule to meet demand. They didn’t even manage to send samples to the singer herself, who is well known for her love of confectionery.

Each box was priced at 12.5 euros, which did not deter either Rosalía’s fans or connoisseurs of traditional Spanish pastries. The dessert can be ordered on the official Santa Teresa Gourmet website, as well as bought at brand stores in Madrid (Jorge Juan 28, Paseo de la Habana 25, Avenida Osa Mayor 92 in the Aravaca district) and in Ávila (Plaza de Santa Teresa 1 and Plaza José Tomé 4). At these locations, the limited edition flies off the shelves in just a few hours.

Blending tradition with modern culture

Yemas de Lux exemplifies how unexpected collaborations can breathe new life into classic products. Inspired by the music and visual style of Rosalía, the pastry chefs at Santa Teresa Gourmet created a dessert that brings together past and present, tradition and innovation. This approach has not only broadened the brand’s audience but also demonstrated that Spanish gastronomy can surprise even the most discerning gourmets.

This case clearly illustrates how modern pop culture can influence gastronomic trends and create new objects of desire. When music, art, and cuisine intersect, products emerge that become true symbols of their time.
