A new vacation format is gaining popularity on the coast of Huelva province in Andalusia, attracting more and more families. We’re talking about glamping—a type of camping that combines time in nature with hotel-level comforts. One such complex has become a sought-after spot for summer holidays and short getaways, offering guests a unique mix of relaxation, entertainment, and a chance to experience local cuisine.
The complex is located in a unique natural area, set in a pine forest just 300 meters from an unspoiled sandy beach stretching for more than seven kilometers. The campsite borders the natural park “Marismas de Isla Cristina,” and the relaxation areas offer views of the Río Carreras. This location allows guests to enjoy both the seaside and the tranquility of protected nature reserves, creating a feeling of complete harmony with nature.
Guests can choose from a wide range of tents, all fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Options range from compact 12 sq.m. ‘Bell’ tents for two, to spacious family options like the 27.3 sq.m. ‘Bali,’ designed for five people. Many offer attached or integrated bathrooms. The stay always includes bed linen, towels, and outdoor furniture. Some accommodation types are pet-friendly.
The complex’s infrastructure is designed for a full-fledged family vacation. Guests have access to a modern swimming pool with sun loungers and shaded areas, a renovated restaurant, a children’s playground, and sports courts. There is also a supermarket, free parking, and Wi-Fi on site. During the high season, as well as on weekends in May and June, an entertainment program is organized for children, allowing adults to relax while the younger family members enjoy supervised games and activities.
In addition to relaxing on the beach and by the pool, the complex offers a variety of active pursuits, including canoe and bicycle rentals. The proximity to the fishing port of Isla Cristina supplies the restaurant with the freshest seafood, delivered to the kitchen daily. This gives guests the opportunity to experience authentic Andalusian gastronomy without leaving the campsite.
