A new round of high-profile legal proceedings is unfolding in Andalusia, linked to the signing of emergency contracts within the regional healthcare system. Representatives of the PSOE, acting as the prosecution, have alleged the intentional destruction and concealment of key documents that could shed light on the circumstances surrounding agreements worth hundreds of millions of euros.
According to prosecutors, regional health service employees not only ignored a direct court order to provide full information about the contracts, but may have also deliberately altered or deleted documents. The agreements in question were signed with private clinics between 2020 and 2024, totaling 242 million euros. Suspicions of data manipulation and concealment
