In September 2025, Madrid will once again immerse itself in the vibrant atmosphere of a true Bavarian celebration. Oktoberfest returns to the Spanish capital, promising residents and tourists unforgettable days filled with music, treats, and fun. From the very first days of the festival, the city is filled with the aromas of freshly baked goods, grilled sausages, and beer, as the streets are adorned with traditional decorations.
This year, organizers have prepared two venues for the event. The first is Gran Teatro CaixaBank Príncipe Pío, where visitors can enjoy the official Paulaner Oktoberfest. Here, guests will find a setting inspired by Munich beer tents, sample signature Paulaner beer, savor German snacks, and experience musical shows. Evening programs start at 20:00 on Thursdays and Fridays, with two sessions on weekends: afternoon and evening.
The second location is Parque Javier de Miguel in the Vallecas district. Here, the large-scale Vallekana Oktoberfest will unfold with a spacious tent, wooden tables and benches, and food trucks. Beer enthusiasts can sample Weihenstephan and Hofbräu München brews. Admission is free for visitors, and opening hours are from 13:00 to midnight on weekdays and until 1:00 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. It’s a great opportunity to choose between daytime and nighttime festivities.
Tickets for the official part of the festival are already available online. The simplest option costs €16.50 and includes half a liter of beer and a snack. Special menus are available for groups: for €32.50 per person you get a one-liter mug, a pretzel, and assorted sausages, while for €39 you also get a traditional German pork knuckle. Entry to the event in Vallecas is free, making the celebration accessible to everyone.
Both venues will feature stein-holding contests, traditional games, and servers in national costumes. The atmosphere is expected to be truly festive, with an impressive array of entertainment. Oktoberfest in Madrid offers the chance to experience the heart of Bavaria without leaving Spain.
