This December, Madrid once again becomes a magnet for fans of magic and cinema. On Gran Vía, right in the heart of the city, visitors are welcomed by a unique venue—a perfect replica of the iconic Great Hall of Hogwarts from the Harry Potter universe. Here, everyone can feel part of the magical world without leaving the Spanish capital.
The recreated hall impresses with its details: long wooden tables, floating candles, festive decor, and an atmosphere straight out of the movies. All of this is part of Espacio Movistar’s large-scale Christmas program, which is once again becoming the main destination for family entertainment during the holidays.
Immersion in magic
From December 20 to January 5, the doors of Espacio Movistar are open to everyone. Admission is free, but prior registration is required on the organizers’ website. On weekdays, the space is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Sundays and holidays—from noon to 8 p.m. On these days, all the Harry Potter films will be screened, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the beloved saga.
The organizers have made sure every visitor will find something to enjoy. In addition to the magical hall, Espacio Movistar features themed areas dedicated to iconic films and series. This year, special attention is given to motorsport: visitors can experience a full-scale replica of the Silverstone track, created to celebrate the release of the new Formula 1 film.

Interactive activities are available for families with children. You can take part in LaLiga trading card exchanges, meet your favorite characters, or send a letter to Santa Claus and the Three Kings at the special Christmas post. For board game enthusiasts, there’s a giant game table dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the movie “Jumanji.”
The total area exceeds 2,800 square meters, allowing multiple themed zones to be set up without creating lines. Every corner of Espacio Movistar is filled with a festive atmosphere, and the variety of entertainment makes it an ideal place for a family outing.
