Tension between Elena Tablada and Javier Ungría shows no sign of easing—on the contrary, it continues to escalate. Despite having separated more than three years ago, the former couple remains locked in an ongoing battle filled with mutual accusations. In the summer of 2024, the model won the appeal filed by the businessman, and the court ruled that full custody of their five-year-old daughter Camila would remain with Tablada. This was a tough blow for Ungría, who commented, “I lost something, but I also gained something,” adding that he does not plan to pursue further legal action.
It seemed as though the conflict had subsided, but Ungría’s recent appearance on the television show ‘El Tiempo Justo’ reignited tensions. In a candid conversation with host Joaquín Prat, the former ‘Supervivientes’ contestant spoke openly about his struggles, legal battles, and current relationship with the woman he was married to for six years. The couple who met in 2016 and celebrated two weddings—one in Miami and another in Cuba—now exist only in memories. “What hurts me most is when Elena says she regrets marrying me,” admitted Miriam Ungría’s nephew. He emphasized, “I was madly in love with her, we had some very good years (…) and I haven’t forgotten that.”
Currently, the couple’s communication is limited solely to matters concerning their daughter, but even then, they rarely see eye to eye. Ungría is particularly worried about how this conflict might affect their daughter Camila in the future. “It hurts to think that one day my daughter will find out about all of this,” he admitted, acknowledging that he himself is “no saint.” According to the businessman, there came a point when “we both stopped making an effort” to preserve the relationship. What hurts him most are the things Tablada has said about his family on TV: “I was hurt by everything Elena said about my mother.”
In response, the program’s reporter contacted the model herself, and her reaction was predictably sharp. “He never liked going unnoticed,” Tablada stated in a voice message, adding, “In the end, I was right.” Elena was emphatic in her reply to Javier’s interview. “I’m not going to comment on this, it’s been a year and a half,” she retorted. Without naming her ex-husband, she made it clear whom she was referring to, delivering a phrase that quickly went viral: “When you stop looking at the clown, the circus is over. You need to work, not jump from one TV show to another. That’s what needs to be done—work.”
Tablada herself, who was previously in a relationship with singer David Bisbal, says she is currently experiencing an “incredibly happy” time. “I am living a very beautiful moment in my life,” she commented, adding that she has recently been avoiding public events. However, she did make an appearance on the red carpet at the recent Ídolo awards, where she crossed paths with Bisbal’s current partner, Rosanna Zanetti, causing a stir in the press. Still, leaving all scandals behind, Elena states: “Right now I’m dedicating my time to myself and the people I love. And I want to keep enjoying it!”
By the way, Elena Tablada is a well-known Spanish-Cuban designer and socialite. She rose to fame thanks to her relationship with the popular singer David Bisbal, with whom she has a daughter, Ella. Her marriage to businessman Javier Ungría lasted from 2018 to 2022, and they have a daughter named Camila. Tablada is a prominent figure in the Spanish media, frequently appearing in glossy magazines and participating in fashion projects.
