The start of the week brought significant changes to Spain’s television ratings, with several programs delivering outstanding results. In Telecinco’s daytime lineup, Jorge Javier Vázquez’s talk show set a new season record. The program “El diario de Jorge” crossed the double-digit threshold for the first time in a long while, attracting an 11.5% audience share, which corresponds to 771,000 viewers. This marks the sixth time this season that the show has reached such heights. The project not only outperformed its competitors from Antena 3 but also significantly improved its performance compared to the previous week, gaining 2.6 percentage points and 95,000 additional viewers. Boomerang TV’s format has not seen this level of success since May of this year.
Later in the evening, the wave of record-breaking performances continued on the public channel La 1. Under the guidance of Jacob Petrus, the program “Aquí la Tierra” achieved its best result of 2025. Its share reached an impressive 14%, drawing in 1,336,000 viewers. This surge stands out compared to last week’s modest 7.3%, highlighting a significant strengthening of the program’s position in its time slot.
Prime time saw a real battle for viewers’ attention. David Broncano and his show “La revuelta” on La 1 kicked off the week strongly, drawing a 13.8% audience share with 1,631,000 viewers—one of the program’s best performances in recent months. Despite this, “El hormiguero” on Antena 3 maintained its overall lead; with guest Duki, it attracted 1,656,000 viewers and achieved a 14% share. However, during the timeslot when both programs aired simultaneously, Broncano’s show managed to pull ahead by one-tenth of a percent.
The sixth episode of “MasterChef Celebrity” also managed to recover after a rather lackluster previous broadcast. The culinary talent show from Shine Iberia climbed to a 14.4% share, drawing an audience of 741,000—an increase of 1.2 points—even though the absolute number of viewers was down slightly by 6,000.
On this night, Telecinco bet on a cinema classic, marking the 35th anniversary of “Pretty Woman.” The romantic comedy starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere captured 11.1% of the audience, or 666,000 viewers. This strategy proved more successful than the brief “Supervivientes All Stars” recap aired beforehand, which drew a modest 8.5%.
Meanwhile, the Turkish series “Renacer” on Antena 3 faced a significant drop in viewership. Its share fell below 10%, recording just 9.8% with 658,000 viewers. Compared to the previous Monday, the show lost 1.7 points and 80,000 fans. It appears the growing popularity of the culinary show on the rival channel has directly affected interest in the foreign drama.
