Balearic Islands

The Balearic Islands are a group of islands in the Mediterranean Sea, located off the coast of Spain. These islands are part of Spain and consist of four main islands: Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, and Formentera, as well as numerous smaller islets.

The islands attract tourists from around the world with their beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters, rich history and culture, and excellent conditions for various outdoor activities such as windsurfing, diving, hiking, and cycling.

The largest and most popular island among tourists is Mallorca, known for its major resorts including Palma de Mallorca, Magaluf, and Palmanova. Menorca, Formentera, and Ibiza are less populated and better preserved, offering visitors a peaceful retreat amidst stunning nature and beaches. The islands are also renowned for their rich history, well-preserved in ancient towns, fortresses, and castles.
