A new BYD office has opened in Madrid, marking an important milestone for the company’s presence in the Spanish market. BYD’s management emphasizes that Spain holds a special place in the brand’s European growth strategy. The new space is located in the Las Tablas district and covers 1,440 square meters, which is 16 times larger than the company’s previous facilities in the capital.
The new office brings together BYD’s key business areas in Spain. It will house divisions responsible for passenger cars, buses, commercial vehicles of various capacities, as well as solutions for internal logistics and energy storage. In addition, the building will include a research and engineering center, enabling faster innovation and greater efficiency between different departments.
The company notes that integrating all departments under one roof fosters the development of new ideas and allows for quicker responses to market changes. According to BYD, this approach strengthens the brand’s position and helps better understand customer needs.
In the coming months, a new BYD showroom will open on the building’s ground floor. Visitors will be able to explore the range of electric and hybrid models and consult with specialists. A training center for employees and partners will also open, offering workshops and educational programs.
Since entering the Spanish market in March 2023, BYD has already registered 20,000 vehicles. In August alone, 1,827 units were sold, and since the beginning of the year, the total reached 14,181. These figures confirm the growing interest in the company’s products among Spanish consumers.
