The updated 2026 Lexus RZ series has debuted on the Spanish market, introducing two new all-wheel-drive Direct4 versions. These are the RZ 500e and RZ 550e F Sport models, which significantly expand the lineup’s capabilities thanks to increased power, improved efficiency, and enhanced comfort. At the same time, the manufacturer has maintained the premium character of the vehicles.
Key updates include a modernized all-wheel drive system, a re-tuned suspension engineered by Takumi experts, and a reinforced chassis. The interior has become noticeably quieter due to reduced noise and vibration, aligning with the brand’s philosophy of creating maximum comfort for both driver and passengers.
The Direct4 system now delivers even more precise torque distribution between the axles, which improves stability and handling in various driving conditions. The e-Luxury AWD and F Sport trims also feature the integrated VDIM dynamics management system, which coordinates ABS, traction and stability control, steering, and brake force distribution. This enhances both safety and driving convenience.
For the first time in the RZ lineup, Steer by Wire technology has been implemented, replacing the traditional mechanical connection between the steering wheel and wheels with electronic control. A distinctive feature is the steering wheel’s shape, reminiscent of an aircraft yoke, which improves the view of the dashboard and increases space for the driver. The steering angle is limited to 200 degrees, making low-speed maneuvering easier and ensuring precision at high speeds. For added reliability, the system is equipped with backup processors and power sources.
All-wheel drive versions are available in three trims. The e-Executive modification (RZ 500e) focuses on maximum comfort and comes equipped with a panoramic roof and 20-inch wheels. The e-Luxury option features a dimmable roof, UltraSuede trim, MultiLED headlights, and an extended set of electronic systems. The most sporty version, the RZ 550e F Sport, is fitted with Steer by Wire technology, aerodynamic wheels, a dual spoiler, and sport seats with leather and UltraSuede upholstery.
In Spain, the base front-wheel drive RZ 350e in e-Premium Efficiency trim is offered starting at €52,000. The all-wheel drive RZ 500e e-Executive AWD starts at €61,900, while the top RZ 550e F Sport is priced at €70,900. Special paint options cost an additional €750.
