GeForce Now October Updates
At the beginning of October, NVIDIA’s cloud gaming platform GeForce Now announced a major expansion of its catalog. Throughout the month, users will gain access to 17 new titles, including both major releases and indie games. Among the most anticipated are Battlefield 6, Little Nightmares III, and Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. The lineup also features simulators, co-op shooters, and several games launching simultaneously with their PC releases.
Major Releases and Beta Versions
Particular attention is drawn to the open beta of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, available to everyone from October 5 to 8, while pre-order holders can try it as early as the 2nd. Other notable new titles include Jurassic World Evolution 3, set to launch on October 21, and the co-op shooter ARC Raiders, arriving on Steam October 30. Thanks to synchronization with global releases, GeForce Now subscribers can access the latest games right away.
Technical Improvements and Infrastructure Expansion
In October, NVIDIA continues to upgrade GeForce Now’s server infrastructure. The upgrade to RTX 5080 servers has already been completed in Miami and Warsaw, with similar changes coming soon to Portland and Ashburn. This brings noticeable gains in stability, lower latency, and improved graphics quality, especially for users on the Ultimate plan.
Platform Features and Subscription Options
GeForce Now is not a store but serves as a bridge connecting your personal libraries on Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Connect, and Xbox/PC Game Pass. Games are run on remote servers, allowing you to play even on devices with minimal technical capabilities. Supported platforms include laptops, Mac, Chromebook, NVIDIA SHIELD, Steam Deck, and even VR headsets.
The service offers three subscription options. The free plan is designed for introduction: sessions up to two hours, with possible queues during peak times, but maintains decent quality. The Priority subscription gives you priority access, extends session duration up to six hours, and unlocks advanced graphics settings. Ultimate RTX 5080 is the highest level, providing access to servers with RTX 5080 graphics cards, support for resolutions up to 5K and frame rates up to 360 fps, as well as the latest NVIDIA technologies and cloud storage.
List of new games for October
In the first week of the month, GeForce Now added Train Sim World 6, Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition, Car Dealer Simulator, Nightingale, Ready or Not, and STALCRAFT: X. Throughout October, King of Meat, Seafarer: The Ship Sim, Little Nightmares III, Battlefield 6, Ball x Pit, Fellowship, Jurassic World Evolution 3, Painkiller, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, Tormented Souls 2, Super Fantasy Kingdom, Earth vs. Mars, and ARC Raiders will join them.
Thus, GeForce Now continues to strengthen its position in the cloud gaming market, offering a wide selection and modern technical solutions for gamers with diverse needs.
