In 2025, a new version of the Porsche 911 Turbo S debuted on the Spanish market, now equipped with a hybrid powertrain. The car is available in two body styles: coupe and convertible. The manufacturer focused on a blend of high performance, comfort, and everyday practicality.
The model’s main feature is the innovative T-Hybrid system, delivering 711 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. This makes the car the most powerful production 911 in the brand’s history. The eight-speed PDK gearbox and all-wheel drive system enable acceleration to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, with 200 km/h reached in 8.4 seconds. The top speed is 322 km/h.
The hybrid drive technology, first introduced in the Carrera GTS in 2024, has been further developed. For the Turbo S, engineers added two electric turbochargers, which improved engine efficiency and response. Despite the more complex design, the vehicle’s weight increased by only 85 kilograms compared to the previous generation, a gain fully offset by the enhanced performance.
Track tests at Nürburgring Nordschleife confirmed the potential of the newcomer: the lap time was 7 minutes 3.92 seconds, 14 seconds faster than its predecessor. According to the test driver involved in development, the car has become noticeably more agile and stable throughout the circuit.
To handle the increased power, Porsche upgraded the braking system and tires. The rear axle is fitted with 325 mm wide tires, while the PCCB ceramic brakes now feature larger discs: 420 mm at the front and 410 mm at the rear. These are the largest brake discs ever fitted to the 911.
Aerodynamics have also been refined: the car now features an active front diffuser, adjustable ventilation elements, and a deployable rear wing. These improvements reduced aerodynamic drag by 10% and increased stability on wet roads thanks to a special Wet mode.
The Turbo S stands out with exclusive details: the new Turbonita color, unique alloy wheels, and a titanium exhaust system. The interior features carbon fiber accents, decorative stitching, and sports seats with 18-way adjustment. The Sport Chrono package comes as standard.
For customization, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur offers more than 100 body color options, ultra-light carbon fiber elements, and even carbon fiber windshield wipers. The coupe starts at €312,200 in Spain, while the cabriolet costs at least €328,344. The first cars will be delivered to customers at the end of 2025 or early 2026.
