Amazon has launched a new Fire TV Stick 4K in Spain. It costs 35.99 euros during the introductory offer and comes with Direct Power, Alexa+ and a redesigned remote with tactile controls.

Amazon launched the device on 30 September 2026. The release also simplifies the Fire TV range. According to Engadget, the main lineup now has four models: Fire TV Stick HD, Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Stick 4K Max and Fire TV Cube.
The remote gets the most attention.

The new Fire TV Stick 4K supports 4K resolution. It also uses Direct Power to make setup simpler.

Amazon is adding Alexa+ too.
The generative artificial intelligence voice assistant is built for more natural conversations. It can also suggest content based on what a user may want to watch.
TechCrunch, Variety and TechRadar describe Alexa+ as part of Amazon's wider plan for more personal recommendations on Fire TV. The assistant adds another layer to the platform. The available material does not give more technical specifications for the stick. It also does not confirm every Alexa+ function that will be available in Spain.
Alexa+ features are expected to roll out region by region rather than becoming available everywhere at the same time. The exact set of Alexa+ functions available in Spain at launch remains unclear.
The standard Fire TV remote comes with the device. The redesigned version will be sold separately from the end of October for 15.99 euros.
Amazon says the new remote works with every Fire TV launched since 2019. Existing owners can therefore buy it as an upgrade.
Its shape is uneven by design. The top is flat. The lower section is curved and heavier, so users can tell which way the remote faces by touch.
That matters in the dark.
A metal surface marks the home button. Amazon says people press that button more than 100 million times a day across its device base.
The tactile design continues across the rest of the remote. Recessed buttons and distinct shapes should make the main controls easier to find without looking down.
The star button can be set to open a chosen app. It can also open system settings such as subtitles and the screen magnifier. Separate controls handle power, volume and mute on compatible televisions, soundbars and receivers.
Amazon has another remote planned.
Fire TV Remote Plus will be a premium model with an aluminium body, backlit buttons and a Find My Remote function. Users will be able to ask Alexa to find it.
Variety and 9to5Toys report that the remote is expected in early 2027. Amazon says it will eventually replace Alexa Voice Remote Pro. The redesigned remote announced now is therefore an intermediate option, not the final high-end model.
The Fire TV range now has a clearer order. Fire TV Stick HD is the entry model. Fire TV Stick 4K sits in the middle with 4K image quality. Fire TV Stick 4K Max is aimed at gaming with higher processing and network speeds, plus Dolby sound. Fire TV Cube remains the premium product.
For buyers in Spain, the price difference is plain. The new stick costs 35.99 euros during the promotion and will return to 74.99 euros afterward. The redesigned remote costs 15.99 euros and arrives at the end of October.
The main change is not the streaming format. It is the way Amazon handles setup and control. The Fire TV Stick 4K gives the range a simpler structure. The new remote gives existing owners a clear reason to upgrade.
