Audi’s new Q4 arrives with up to 592 km of range, improved efficiency, and a refreshed interior. Buyers benefit from free charging subscriptions and pricing that qualifies for Spain’s Plan Auto Plus incentives.

The 2026 Audi Q4 lands in Spain with a clear message: electric driving is no longer about compromise. The latest generation of Audi’s best-selling electric SUV introduces a suite of upgrades that sharpen its appeal, from a longer range and lower energy consumption to a more intuitive digital cockpit and practical charging perks.

Visually, the Q4 receives subtle but effective exterior changes. A redesigned singleframe grille, new lighting signature, and reworked air intakes at the front are paired with a reshaped rear spoiler and diffuser. These tweaks aren’t just for show—they help the Q4 cut through the air more efficiently, contributing to a 32-kilometer increase in range and a 1.3 kWh/100 km drop in consumption, according to Audi’s data.

Spacious and Flexible

Measuring 4.6 meters in length, the Q4 remains compact enough for city streets but offers generous space inside. Rear passengers benefit from ample legroom and headroom, while the boot holds between 515 and 527 liters depending on whether you choose the SUV or Sportback body style. The flat floor and wide opening make loading easy, and the rear seats comfortably accommodate two adults.

Inside, the Q4’s cabin is transformed by the new Digital Stage: two curved digital displays dominate the dashboard, with an optional third screen available for the front passenger. Audi has listened to feedback and replaced the previous haptic controls on the steering wheel with physical buttons, making everyday interactions more straightforward and less distracting.

Performance and Efficiency

The Q4 lineup offers two battery options—63 kWh and 82 kWh—matched to three power outputs: 200, 280, and 300 horsepower. Acceleration is brisk, and while the car’s weight is still noticeable in tight corners, the overall driving experience is refined and quiet. On highways and well-paved roads, the Q4 stands out for its comfort and sound insulation, with a steering feel that now closely matches Audi’s combustion models, except for the more immediate power delivery typical of electric vehicles.

Regenerative braking is adjustable across four levels, from a strong “B” mode that enables near one-pedal driving to three milder D modes that let drivers fine-tune the deceleration. This flexibility helps maximize efficiency and adapt to different driving styles.

Charging and Ownership Perks

To address lingering concerns about electric vehicle charging, Audi includes a complimentary subscription to Audi Charging, unlocking access to one million charging points across Europe. Thanks to a partnership with Iberdrola, buyers can also have a home charging station installed at no extra cost, with up to 200 meters of cable included. The Q4 now supports V2L (vehicle-to-load) functionality, allowing owners to power external devices directly from the car’s battery.

The range has been streamlined to three trims—Advance, S-Line, and Black Line—all well-equipped from the start with features like a dual-zone climate system, 19-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, and Audi’s MMI navigation. Prices start at €49,970, and the Q4 is eligible for Spain’s Plan Auto Plus, making it more accessible for buyers seeking government incentives.

For those comparing the Q4 to other electric SUVs, it’s worth noting how the segment is evolving. For example, the Mercedes GLC 400 EQ 4Matic has set new standards for comfort and range, as detailed in this recent analysis of Mercedes’ electric SUV. The competition is fierce, but Audi’s focus on efficiency, usability, and ownership benefits keeps the Q4 at the heart of the market.

Looking ahead, Audi’s strategy of launching 30 new models in just two years—each with electric or plug-in hybrid options—signals a decisive shift. The Q4’s improvements reflect not just a response to customer feedback, but a broader move to make electric mobility practical and attractive for everyday use in Spain and across Europe.
