The Zagreb site combines vehicle sales with a package of finance and after-sales services as EBRO enters Croatia. The company plans two outlets there by year-end and an eight-site sales and service network within 12 months.

EBRO Motors Group recorded €309.7 million in consolidated revenue in the first half of 2026, up 194.2% from €105.3 million a year earlier. EBITDA turned positive at €1.7 million, a margin of 0.6%, while total losses fell by 56%. El Economista reported that higher vehicle sales and the consolidation of EBRO’s industrial activity accompanied the improvement. The company was also negotiating an expansion of its Barcelona factory and weighing additional credit and capital.

The Spanish manufacturer is expanding abroad as its finances improve. EBRO began commercial operations in Croatia on 29 October 2026, opening its first sales and service centre at Poslovni centar Heinzelova, Heinzelova 70, Zagreb. The site has a vehicle showroom and sales area, with financing and renting available in the same complex. Its authorised after-sales workshop has specialist technology.

AUTO HRVATSKA is EBRO’s importer and official representative in Croatia and Slovenia. The partnership began in July 2026. The automotive group has operated for nearly 75 years and employs more than 800 people. It runs 33 facilities across four countries in the region. Rafael Ruiz, president of the board of EBRO Motors Group, and Pedro Calef, chief executive of EBRO Motors, attended the opening. AUTO HRVATSKA Group chief executive Alen Vuksan-Ćusa and importer director Goran Banđen were there, as was Joško Košta, director of the Heinzelova centre.

The network is still in the planning stage: the companies aim to end 2026 with two Croatian sales points, then expand to eight sales and service facilities within 12 months. The Zagreb location handles sales and authorised maintenance and repair, with financing and renting also available. AUTO HRVATSKA is also due to represent EBRO in Slovenia, where the brand plans to expand in 2027.

EBRO will offer its full SUV range in Croatia, with the s400 and s700 joined by the s800 and s900. The powertrain lineup includes combustion and hybrid options, with both conventional and plug-in hybrids. The s900 measures 481 centimetres in length and has a 280-centimetre wheelbase, according to Poslovni.hr. Vehicles for the Croatian market will be produced in Barcelona through EBRO’s manufacturing operation, associated with Spanish company EV Motors and Chinese manufacturer Chery. That Spanish manufacturing link also features in a Spanish production report on Skoda’s Epiq.

EBRO sold 12,612 vehicles in the first half and recorded 13,939 passenger-car registrations, giving it a cumulative 2.2% share of the Spanish market. Spain accounted for 98% of operations, while the first stages of international expansion made up the remaining 2%.

Plug-in hybrids and self-charging hybrids accounted for 89.7% of first-half sales. Their share of registrations had reached 92.2% by September. Non-plug-in hybrids made up 53% of total sales.
