Star-profile glass softens Lumina’s light, while modular fittings can be arranged vertically or horizontally. Faro Barcelona also offers a free-suspension option for architectural spaces.
Faro Barcelona offers Lumina in 2200 K or 2700 K.
Designer Xavier Carrasquet built the suspended collection around a clear glass element with a star-shaped profile. The glass catches reflections and diffuses the light, shaping both the fixture’s appearance and its output.
A luminaire can be used alone, or linked modules can form a larger group. The fittings can be arranged vertically or horizontally. They can also hang in a free-suspension, or swag, arrangement. Modules can link together into groups, with their alignment set to match a project’s scale and geometry. Available size identifiers cover 1L to 3L, including the 2L configuration.
From different viewing positions, the ribbed glass changes how the light appears. Its geometry spreads reflections through the material, creating a warm, diffused effect. The design can follow architectural lines or form visual sequences within a space.
Barcelona’s cultural programme also spans different venues: Mixtur’s 2026 programme takes contemporary music across venues. Lumina approaches the built environment through adjustable suspended lighting.
For control, the collection offers ON/OFF or DALI. According to Mouser Electronics’ technical guide, DALI is a digital interface for controlling dimmable lighting ballasts and forms part of the IEC 60929 specification. The structure has a black finish. Installation is available with either a surface-mounted or recessed canopy.
