La Mala Rodríguez was eliminated after the judges rejected her stuffed pasta dish as inedible. A kitchen swap and a fight over immunity added pressure to the episode.
The episode made La Mala Rodríguez the fifth contestant eliminated from this edition, according to RTVE. Her exit came during a challenge built around cheese and stuffed pasta. The judges rejected her dish as "incomestible". She had been one of the season's most recognisable contestants.
The problem was the butter-based sauce. The emulsion had split, and the texture had broken down. The judges saw an inedible plate rather than a dish that was simply too rich. Rodríguez could not fix it while the other aspirants finished preparations with at least two different cheeses.
Santiago Segura received immunity in the first challenge, according to RTVE’s official account of the episode.
The kitchen swap made the final test harder.
First, contestants identified cheeses. They then prepared stuffed pasta with at least two of the varieties they had chosen. The judges later made them change kitchens and take over another contestant's preparation. Several aspirants lost their rhythm. The switch also showed how much some dishes depended on a familiar workspace. Rodríguez was the only contestant left behind in that cooking round. She became the week's elimination.
Pressure had started building in the first challenge. The food pong format gave contestants ingredients or utensils when they landed a ball in one of the glasses. Each person then had to use the item they won in a free-style dish.
Rodríguez had previously competed in MasterChef Celebrity 10, where she was eliminated in ninth place. Her appearance in Legends therefore represented a second opportunity, which ended with her fifth-place elimination in this edition.
Juan Betancourt used that test to challenge María Escoté for the immunity pin she had won the previous week. The jury preferred Betancourt's dish and gave him the pin. Santiago and Bustamante also won praise for their preparations. Santiago earned the chance to donate 4,000 euros to the Aladina charity. Flo and La Mala Rodríguez received black aprons after their dishes ranked lowest in the round. RTVE also confirms that Santiago Segura won immunity in the first challenge.
The outdoor challenge put the focus on team coordination. Contestants travelled to the Real Club Náutico de Madrid at the Pantano de San Juan. The site is known as the "playa de Madrid". There, they had to reproduce a menu designed by chef Ramón Freixa for 70 diners.
Flo led the blue team. The group lost its organisation during service. Santiago captained the red team, and the judges saved it. The split added pressure to an episode shaped by clashes between leadership, alliances and individual performance.
By the final decision, the judges were choosing between La Mala Rodríguez and Florentino Fernández, known as Flo. Flo was warned for joking too much and for losing focus on the cooking. The judges saved him and eliminated Rodríguez. El Televisero reported accusations of "tongo" on social media. Those posts show audience reaction. They do not establish that the programme broke its rules.
The episode delivered a simple result. A strong profile could not make up for a plate the judges considered impossible to eat. Rodríguez said she regretted leaving, but called the edition "fantasía" because she had enjoyed the experience. In an interview with La Vanguardia, she said she would like to see Marina Rivers or Paz win.
The rivalry did not decide the result. The dish did. That was the week's clearest outcome.
