Lepas will launch two electric SUVs, the L6 EV and L4 EV, in Spain before the end of the year. Both models offer a 450 km range and are tuned for European roads. The brand aims to compete in a market where buyers want practical dimensions and efficiency in daily use. Lepas plans to end the year with around 50 sales points across Spain, information from Spanish media.
The L6 EV measures 4.57 meters long, a size intended to ease city driving while leaving room inside. It has a 65 kWh LFP battery and a 160 kW (217 hp) motor. The SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. Fast charging at 120 kW takes the battery from 30% to 80% in 22 minutes. A 3.3 kW V2L function lets drivers power devices such as e-bikes or coffee makers from the car.
The L6 EV’s cabin features a 13.2-inch vertical touchscreen and an 8.88-inch digital cluster. A built-in voice assistant runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processor. The European chassis team tuned the steering and Bosch brakes for a smoother feel, with improved energy recovery. Luggage space is 410 liters, expanding to 1,334 liters with the seats folded. There is another 99 liters under the floor. Options include a panoramic roof and dual-zone climate control. Buyers can also choose a heated steering wheel or a cooled 50 W wireless charger.
The L4 EV is shorter, at 4.42 meters, and stands 1.63 meters high. It uses the same battery and offers the same 450 km range as the L6 EV. Despite its smaller size, it has a larger standard boot, at 458 liters, expanding to 1,284 liters with the seats folded. It also has a front trunk for extra storage. Its 218 hp motor matches the L6’s acceleration, reaching 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. The L4 EV has a top speed of 170 km/h. Inside, it mirrors the L6’s technology, with more than 30 storage spaces. Two-tone finishes are also available.
Lepas has not yet announced prices for the L4 EV or L6 EV. Official details are expected closer to the sales launch, El Español reported. The two models join the L8 Súper Híbrido, already on sale, giving Lepas a three-model lineup in Spain with different sizes and powertrains. The company has tuned the cars for European tastes instead of simply importing global versions. Other brands are making similar moves. MG, for example, has recently pushed into Spain’s premium EV market.
The L6 EV and L4 EV share the same battery and 450 km range. Their acceleration also matches. The basic differences are size and cargo options, with smaller design details setting them apart. The L6’s combination of space and city-friendly dimensions could appeal to many Spanish buyers. The L4’s compact build and storage options may suit urban drivers.
