Schneider Electric is restarting Ruta 26 across Spain and Portugal. More than 40 stops will bring training, digital tools and technical advice to electrical professionals.

More than 40 stops are planned across Spain and Portugal from late September through October. The route will cover mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands and Portugal. Instaladores 2.0, a Spanish trade publication, confirmed the scale, timing and reach of the programme.

The focus is practical. Professionals will get technology training, digital tools and technical support close to where they work.

Ruta 26 is back.

The first stage drew more than 3,000 professionals in Spain and Portugal. That response gave Schneider Electric a reason to extend the roadshow instead of replacing it with a digital-only offer.

The first stage of Ruta 26 had already brought together more than 3,000 professionals in Spain and Portugal, providing a measured basis for extending the roadshow format.

The stops are aimed at independent electricians, small installation companies, maintenance workers and specialists in electrical distribution. Visitors will see product demonstrations and receive technical advice.

Schneider Electric will also present solutions linked to electrification, energy efficiency and digitalisation.

This is more than a promotional tour.

Ruta 26 forms part of Schneider Electric's Advancing Energy Tech programme. The company is using face-to-face meetings to stay close to distributors and professional electricians. It is also taking its technology into the workplaces where these groups operate each day.

The route is designed for practical use: visitors are expected to find product demonstrations, technical consultations and working tools rather than only listen to corporate presentations. Its stated technology focus combines electrification, energy efficiency and digitalisation.

Distributors will be central to the operation. They will host each stop and connect Schneider Electric with local professionals who attend.

That gives the route a clear commercial structure. It is not simply a series of separate presentations.

The programme will include demonstrations and guidance to help visitors use the company's solutions in their work. The main subjects are electrification, digitalisation and energy efficiency. No separate attendance figures have been provided for the new stops.

Javier Arbues, director of distribution for Schneider Electric in the Iberian region, says the company is responding to the strong reception of the first stage. He says the goal is to bring its solutions and tools closer to the daily work of electricians and distributors.

His comments connect the route with training, proximity and technical support as the sector changes.

Schneider Electric is also linking the roadshow to mySchneider Rewards. The loyalty programme for professional electricians offers training benefits and access to sector initiatives that support installers' professional development.

The value of Ruta 26 comes from its direct format. Professionals can see products in use, get technical guidance and work with digital tools through the distribution channel that serves them.

The route gives Schneider Electric a direct line to the people driving electrification and technological change in the sector.

The available information includes a calendar and registration process for Ruta 26. It does not list individual venues or dates for each stop.

The wider plan is clear. More than 40 meetings will take place across Spain and Portugal between late September and October.

That is the bet.

Schneider Electric is treating Ruta 26 as a focused industry programme rather than a general public campaign. The company is using local contact and training to strengthen its relationship with the electrical market and its distribution network.

The first stage reached more than 3,000 professionals. The next stage will span mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands and Portugal.
