This jump is due to the arrival of warm air from Africa and changes in atmospheric circulation, which will bring dry and hot weather across the region.

Meteorologists warn that the heat will persist on Saturday, and by evening, localized thunder showers are possible due to the emergence of an upper-level depression (dana) in the southwest of the Iberian Peninsula. On Sunday, the likelihood of unstable weather will increase: the combination of warm air at the surface and cold air at higher altitudes may lead to thunderstorm development, especially in southern provinces. Meanwhile, the Azores anticyclone will continue to block the movement of Atlantic cyclones, so any precipitation will be localized rather than frontal.
