After a long legal dispute, Mediaset secured the rights to the well-known 'El rosco' round, but cannot use its original name because of ITV's rights. 'Rueda la letra' will try to attract viewers an hour before its basic rival, before they switch channels. It will use the same mechanics under its new title.
Meanwhile, '¡Allá tú!' with Juanra Bonet stays in the 20:00 to 21:00 slot, where it regularly delivers some of Telecinco's best non-prime-time numbers, often topping a 10% share. The network is counting on the established format to hold its ground against Antena 3. Audience data from eldiario.es Vertele shows that '¡Allá tú!' consistently outperforms other non-prime-time shows, making it a basic part of Telecinco's afternoon lineup.
Not every summer show made the cut. 'Amor... o lo que surja' and 'El show de Paz' have already been dropped. 'El verano se mueve', despite a modest 6.9% average, is the only new summer program to survive. Ion Aramendi's show will continue to open the afternoon block from 15:55 to 17:55, followed by the return of 'El diario de Jorge' with Jorge Javier Vázquez. The court confirmed restrictions on Antena 3's exclusive use, clearing the way for Mediaset to launch its own version. Morning programming remains in the hands of Unicorn Content and Ana Rosa Quintana. 'La mirada crítica' with Ana Terradillos starts at 08:00, followed by 'El programa de Ana Rosa'. Patricia Pardo hosts 'Vamos a ver'. 'El tiempo justo' will return when Joaquín Prat comes back from paternity leave, though its exact time slot has yet to be announced.
Weekend afternoons are also unsettled. 'El precio justo', another Carlos Sobera show, continues on Saturdays and Sundays at 13:30. Telecinco is still looking for a stable hit in this slot after dropping 'Socialité' and 'Vaya fama'; 'Visto lo visto' has also been dropped.
