Outside UN headquarters, exiles rejected her authority as Venezuela's acting president and questioned decisions being made in the country's name. The protest took place at Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza while Rodríguez was inside the building. During the session, she briefly approached Pedro Sánchez, the president of the Spanish Government. Outside, demonstrators focused on her legitimacy and Venezuela's future under the current arrangement.
