A workplace accident in Zamudio left a maintenance worker injured on Thursday after parts of a wall collapsed onto his legs. The incident took place around midday at a company in the Kurtze industrial estate, information from the Bizkaia Fire Department. The worker was performing maintenance on an inactive furnace when the wall components gave way.
Emergency services were alerted shortly after 12:00. Firefighters reached the area, freed the worker and transferred him to medical services.
