An 18-year-old is in serious condition after a stabbing inside a Puente de Vallecas apartment. Two men in their fifties were also injured. Emergency services responded late Friday night, and police are investigating.

An 18-year-old man is in critical condition after a stabbing inside an apartment building on Calle de Enrique Velasco in Madrid’s Puente de Vallecas district. The incident happened late Friday night and also left two men in their fifties with less serious injuries. The National Police are investigating what led to the violence.

Emergency services received a call about a stabbing around 10 p.m. at number 14. When teams from Summa 112 and Samur arrived, they found the young man with deep wounds to his thigh and arm, along with a head injury. The bleeding from his thigh was severe, and paramedics had difficulty stopping it, raising concerns about possible arterial damage. He was stabilized at the scene and taken to Hospital 12 de Octubre in serious condition.

According to official reports from 112 Comunidad de Madrid, all three victims were injured inside the same apartment, and the investigation is being led by the Policía Nacional.

The two older men, both around 50, were treated for minor injuries. One had facial trauma and was also taken to Hospital 12 de Octubre. The other had a cut on his arm and was transported to Hospital Gregorio Marañón. Emergency personnel classified both as having minor injuries.

Initial reports from 112 Comunidad de Madrid confirm that all three men were hurt inside the same apartment. The cause of the fight is still unclear, and authorities have not said whether the men knew each other or if anyone has been arrested. Police are gathering evidence and taking statements to piece together what happened.

Knife attacks in Madrid’s urban districts, including Puente de Vallecas, have drawn more attention from police and residents in recent years. While Madrid generally has a low rate of violent crime compared to other European capitals, incidents like this continue to challenge emergency services. In this case, the quick response from Summa 112 and Samur likely prevented the youngest victim’s injuries from becoming fatal. The investigation is ongoing as police work to clarify the events and determine responsibility.

Just days before this incident, on September 7, 2026, another severe stabbing occurred in Puente de Vallecas, where a 49-year-old man suffered critical abdominal injuries. This highlights that the district has recently appeared multiple times in police crime reports.
