Zenvo unveiled the near-production Aurora Tur at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Danish low-volume hypercar maker describes its hybrid V12 as the most powerful ever fitted to a road car. The system is rated at 1,380 kW, about 1,851 hp. Independent automotive coverage has also described the Aurora as a V12 hybrid producing approximately 1,850 hp. The Aurora follows the company’s earlier TSR-S and TS1 GT models, extending Zenvo’s focus on limited-run, high-performance cars.
Central to the Tur is a bespoke 6.6-litre V12 developed in partnership with Mahle Powertrain. Zenvo’s stated specifications give the four-turbo engine an output of 932 kW and torque of 1,200 Nm; its redline is 9,800 rpm. Three electric motors add a claimed 447 kW, bringing total system output to 1,380 kW and torque to 1,700 Nm. These figures come from the manufacturer’s hybrid powertrain specifications.
Zenvo projects that the Aurora Tur will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.3 seconds. It expects the car to reach 300 km/h in nine seconds, with 400 km/h coming in 17 seconds. The Fiat 500 Hybrid comparison, which says the car could reach 100 km/h in roughly the time the Aurora is projected to cover 0 to 400 km/h, illustrates the scale rather than offering a like-for-like performance benchmark. Zenvo expects a top speed of around 420 km/h, which would put the car among the fastest production models.
Despite its hybrid all-wheel-lead system, the Aurora Tur has a stated kerb weight of 1,548 kg. Both planned variants share its carbon-composite architecture. Zenvo will offer the Aurora as the Agil, tailored for track use with a lighter, more aggressive setup, and the Tur, designed for grand touring without sacrificing outright performance. The two versions use the same hybrid V12 platform.
Zenvo says it will build only 50 Aurora cars, with deliveries scheduled to begin in the second half of 2027. The validation prototypes shown at Goodwood mark a key stage in a development programme that began at the same event in 2025. First held in 1993, Goodwood’s Festival of Speed is a prominent venue for manufacturers to present performance cars and prototypes. An appearance there is a public demonstration, not production approval.
Zenvo’s next step is to turn the prototypes into customer-ready vehicles. The Goodwood appearance gives the Aurora programme a public showcase as the company works toward its planned delivery schedule.
The Aurora’s debut comes as electrification and hybrid systems reshape the hypercar segment.
