Ahead of the holiday season, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, reached out to her followers with heartfelt words of gratitude. In her As Ever newsletter, she shared personal reflections and wished everyone a happy Thanksgiving, emphasizing the special role family plays in her life. Her message went beyond a formal greeting, offering a sincere glimpse into what truly matters to her. The Duchess expressed her appreciation for the support of her new brand and the fact that her products are becoming part of many people’s daily lives.
Meghan noted that it is a great honor for her to be a part of her customers’ family moments and traditions. She warmly described how her products—from jam on morning toast to a candle lit for evening coziness—find a place in people’s homes and hearts. The Duchess highlighted that she values this trust and the opportunity to ‘have a seat at the table’ in her customers’ lives, whether it’s a bottle of wine for a celebration or honey for tea.
She offered special thanks to her husband, Prince Harry, and their children—six-year-old Prince Archie and four-year-old Princess Lilibet. In her letter, Meghan admitted that as she looks at her family and close friends, especially during the bustle of holiday preparations, she feels deeply grateful for all that she has. ‘For this adventure of life, for love and support—and for you,’ she concluded in her message to subscribers.
This heartfelt letter was published shortly after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, along with their children, participated in a charity event organized by their Archewell Foundation. The family visited Our Big Kitchen, a nonprofit in Los Angeles, where they helped prepare and pack meals for people facing food insecurity. It was one of the few public appearances the couple has made together with their children.
During the event, Harry and Meghan, together with Archie and Lilibet, made cookie dough. Although, in keeping with tradition, the children’s faces were hidden from cameras, reporters noted Princess Lilibet’s long red hair braided into a plait. In a statement, the Archewell Foundation emphasized that the prepared meals would be delivered to local schools, shelters, and senior centers, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to ‘putting compassion into action’.
By the way, Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, was a well-known American actress before marrying Prince Harry, gaining fame for her role in the popular TV series ‘Suits.’ Her 2018 marriage to Queen Elizabeth II’s grandson became one of the most talked-about events of the decade. However, in 2020, the couple made headlines again by stepping down from their senior royal duties and moving to North America. Settling in California, they founded their own organization, Archewell, which focuses on charity and media projects. In recent years, Meghan has been developing her lifestyle brand, As Ever, offering home goods and food products. Despite relinquishing their royal roles, the couple continues to draw massive attention from the press and the public worldwide.
