Spain has unveiled the new all-electric Toyota C-HR+ Electric crossover, making it the brand’s second electric vehicle on the local market. This model targets buyers seeking a blend of innovation, eco-friendliness, and dynamic performance in the C-SUV segment.
The vehicle is built on the e-TNGA platform, offering a highly rigid body structure and optimal weight distribution. Both front-wheel and all-wheel drive versions are available. The front-wheel drive variant delivers 224 hp from its electric motor and can travel up to 609 km on a single charge in mixed-cycle conditions. The all-wheel drive setup features an additional electric motor on the rear axle, boosting total power to 343 hp and enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds. In this configuration, the driving range reaches up to 500 km.
The 77 kWh battery supports fast DC charging: recharging from 10% to 80% takes just half an hour. For improved efficiency in cold weather, smart battery preheating is available—it can be activated manually, on a schedule, or automatically when approaching a charging station. Depending on the trim, on-board AC chargers with 11 or 22 kW output are offered.
The exterior of the C-HR+ Electric is defined by aerodynamic lines, the absence of a traditional grille, LED lighting, and a coupe-like silhouette. The drag coefficient is just 0.26, which contributes positively to efficiency. The top-tier version comes with 20-inch alloy wheels and a two-tone body paint.
The interior focuses on comfort and sustainability, using recycled materials including PET upholstery, as well as synthetic leather and Alcantara. The trunk capacity is 416 liters. The driver has access to a 7-inch digital instrument panel and a 14-inch multimedia touchscreen compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Audio is provided by a premium 800-watt JBL system with a subwoofer and eight speakers.
The equipment list includes a wide range of electronic assistants, such as the Toyota Safety Sense suite, blind spot monitoring, automatic parking braking, adaptive high beams, and a 360-degree camera. For extra safety, a door opening warning system alerts about approaching vehicles.
Buyers can choose from nine body colors, as well as the option to install a home charging station at a fixed price. Official dealers are already accepting orders, with first deliveries expected in the first quarter of 2026. The base version starts at €36,500, while the top-tier trim is priced from €44,000. Both versions come with attractive financing terms and an extended warranty.
