In the heart of the autonomous community of Castilla y León, in the province of Burgos, lies a unique village seemingly frozen in time. Located on the border between the former kingdoms of Castilla and Navarra, it is surrounded by imposing fortress walls. The majestic silhouette of the castle and its main tower (torre del homenaje) still rise above the old houses.
