A major police operation has concluded in the city of Terrassa (Barcelona province), resulting in the arrest of 16 people suspected of involvement in a criminal group distributing cocaine. According to police, members of the gang actively used electric scooters to deliver drugs around the city, allowing them to move quickly and avoid law enforcement attention.
The investigation lasted more than nine months. During this time, police officers closely monitored the suspects’ movements and recorded their activities. On October 16, searches were carried out simultaneously in eight apartments located in different districts of Terrassa. According to investigators, these locations served as hubs for organizing supply and sale of illegal substances.
The group included both men and women aged between 20 and 54. Each member had a specific role: some were responsible for purchasing and storing drugs, others handled packaging and transferring goods, while certain individuals delivered cocaine and marijuana to clients. The entire operation was overseen by one person, who coordinated the group’s activities and distributed responsibilities.
During the raids, police found 350 grams of cocaine, 1.6 kilograms of marijuana, ten electronic scales, more than 11,000 euros in cash, as well as weapons including an air pistol, brass knuckles, and a machete. All items were seized as evidence. As a result of the operation, the detainees have been charged with drug trafficking and participation in a criminal organization. Investigators are now working to determine whether the gang had links to other groups in the region.
