From November 17 to 20, Barcelona once again becomes a hub for professionals and enthusiasts of the pool industry. This year, the exhibition, held at Gran Via, promises to impress with its scale: 45,000 square meters, more than 400 exhibitors, and participants from thirty countries. Organizers expect visitor numbers to exceed 15,000—setting a new record for the industry.
Visitors’ attention will be focused on the latest achievements in automation, energy efficiency, and artificial intelligence integration. The exhibition will showcase not only traditional pool solutions, but also innovative products that are redefining comfort and safety. Special emphasis is placed on sustainability: many companies will present water recycling systems and energy-saving technologies—a timely focus for Spain, where the number of pools has already surpassed 1.3 million.
New horizons for professionals and businesses
The event will bring together not only manufacturers and suppliers, but also architects, designers, representatives of the hospitality sector, sports centers, and landscape studios. This year, the area dedicated to outdoor spaces has been expanded—here, attendees can discover the latest solutions for terraces, outdoor furniture, lighting, barbecues, and landscape design. The centerpiece will be the Outdoor & Wellness Experience showroom—a true oasis spanning 1,000 square meters, perfectly combining a pool, spa, saunas, and relaxation zones.
The organizers have placed special emphasis on environmental aspects. For the first time, demonstration pools and spas will be filled with recycled water sourced from the city’s sports complex. After the exhibition, the water will be returned to its original place, highlighting a commitment to resource efficiency.
Educational and business program
The exhibition will feature more than thirty events, ranging from roundtables and themed forums to workshops and sessions for sharing experiences. Participants will discuss regulatory issues, new quality standards, investments in the hospitality sector, and professional development. Special focus will be given to international meetings and dedicated days for specific countries and regions, such as Mexico and Andalusia.
Traditionally, the event will conclude with the presentation of prestigious awards for the best projects and products in pool design and wellness. Among them are the Wellness Experience, Piscina Barcelona, Outdoor Design awards, and the international competition for architecture and landscape design students. The top European projects of the year will also be recognized.
The Barcelona exhibition reaffirms Spain’s status as a global leader in the pool industry and a hub for groundbreaking ideas. This is where the trends that will shape the sector’s future for years to come are set.
