In San Blas, Parents Fear for Infant’s Life After Food Incident

Neighbors vs. Family: Scandal Involving Threats and Glass Found in Children's Food in Madrid

A conflict has erupted between neighbors in Madrid’s San Blas district. The parents of a baby found themselves in danger after a suspicious discovery in their child’s food. The family is now forced to live in fear, worried about further threats.

A scandal erupted in a building on Arcentales Avenue in San Blas (Madrid), shocking local residents. A family with a young child, renting a room, found themselves in a dangerous situation: shards of glass were discovered in a jar of food intended for their ten-month-old son.

While preparing lunch, the baby’s mother noticed some strange hard particles in the puree. On closer inspection, she realized they were pieces of glass. The woman did not hesitate and immediately called the police. Officers who arrived at the scene confirmed the presence of hazardous objects in the baby food and began investigating what had happened.

A couple living in the same apartment quickly fell under suspicion. Previous conflicts had already occurred between the tenants, and now the situation has escalated into a criminal case. The man and woman, aged 57 and 49, were detained on charges of causing bodily harm. After questioning, they were released and returned to the same apartment, where they continue to live alongside the victim’s family.

The situation has become unbearable for the child’s parents. They are forced to stay in their room at all times, fearing further provocations. According to them, the threats have not stopped: they were allegedly hinted that the child could be thrown out the window to free up the apartment. The family claims that the landlords are doing everything possible to drive them out, and now every time they leave the room, they record everything on their phone in case of new incidents.

The boy’s mother is still in shock after what she found in the food jar. She admits she does not feel safe and does not know how to protect her son. Attempts to obtain a restraining order have been unsuccessful, and the family continues to live in constant fear, hoping for a quick resolution to their housing situation or intervention from the authorities.
