Autumn in Málaga promises to be especially eventful for thrill-seekers. An unusual attraction is set to open in one of Fuengirola’s popular shopping centers, already drawing the attention of Halloween enthusiasts. For several days, a mysterious ghost circus will appear here, blending fear and laughter in a single space.
From October 24 to November 1, Centro Comercial Miramar will host Rusty’s Circus—a free tour through the forgotten corners of an abandoned circus that comes to life once a year. Organizers promise an authentically creepy atmosphere: visitors will encounter characters straight out of dark fairy tales. The location is set in the new Family Zone, between the Miramar Kids and Zero Latency areas, making it easy to separate guests by age group.
Families with children aged five and up are welcome from 17:30 to 19:30, while from 19:30 to 20:30, entry is restricted to teens and adults over 14. Each day brings a new show: one evening might feature the mysterious bearded lady; another, the chilling shriek of the human cannonball; and at the end of October, audiences will hear the tale of a soulless aerial gymnast. The series will conclude on November 1 with a dark drama about the tamer Dante. All performances take place in the evening, and to avoid queues, it’s necessary to reserve a spot in advance via the official Miramar app.
However, Rusty’s Circus is not just about fear. The organizers have added a generous dose of humor to the program: clowns María Cángelo and Pepe Repullo will ease the tension with their clumsy antics and jokes. Thanks to this, even the most impressionable guests will be able to relax and enjoy the event. As a result, the shopping center becomes a magnet for families and groups of friends looking to celebrate Halloween not just with ghosts, but with a smile. This year, the holiday on the Costa del Sol promises to be especially vibrant and memorable.
