A World of Miniatures Comes to Life in the Heart of Madrid
This weekend, Madrid once again becomes the hotspot for all miniature art enthusiasts. The fifth edition of the Madrid Miniaturas exhibition has opened at the Madrid Marriott Princesa Plaza hotel, bringing together over fifty artisans from across Europe to showcase their creations. Here, visitors can marvel at tiny replicas of furniture, tableware, clothing, and even entire interiors crafted with remarkable precision and attention to detail.
The exhibition impresses with its variety: from modern minimalist designs to vintage themes inspired by shabby chic, art nouveau, and even the styles of the 70s and 80s. Special attention is given to miniature replicas of iconic toys like Barbie and Ken, complete with accessories, furniture, and even a miniature Ferrari car. For collectors and anyone fascinated by the unusual, this is a true paradise—each piece transports you to its own world, rich with memories and imagination.
Contests, giveaways, and a creative atmosphere
Organizers have prepared a packed program for guests of all ages. Throughout the day, visitors can not only admire the exhibits but also join a creative contest themed ‘Where do you create your miniatures?’ Participants present their own compositions, and exhibition guests vote for their favorites. Results are announced at six o’clock in the evening, followed by a prize draw among voters for gift certificates to spend at exhibitor stalls.
Winners of the competition receive special prizes: the grand prize is a €100 voucher, the second prize is €50, plus several incentive prizes of €25 each. All vouchers can only be spent at the exhibition itself, adding an extra thrill and engaging guests in the hunt for unique souvenirs. If a winner is not present at the ceremony, their prize will be reserved until the following year.
