Prime Video subscribers in Spain can now play supported Amazon Luna games on compatible Fire TV devices at no extra cost. The Games tab opens a changing catalogue, with no console or dedicated PC required.
Amazon first launched Luna in Spain in November 2023, offering cloud gaming without waiting for downloads or updates. Prime subscribers can now play supported Luna games through the Prime Video app on compatible Fire TV devices at no extra cost.
To start, users open Prime Video and select the Games tab. Luna streams the games, so titles included with Prime need no downloads or separate purchases. A console or dedicated PC is not required.
Amazon says the feature works on selected devices. That includes Fire TV Stick and Fire TV Stick Lite. Fire TV Stick 4K and Fire TV Stick 4K Max are supported too. Fire TV Cube is also on the list, along with some Fire TV Edition televisions.
The catalogue includes STAR WARS: Galactic Racer and Hogwarts Legacy. Sonic X Shadow Generations and Assassin's Creed Mirage are also available. Other titles include Bluey: The Videogame and Goat Simulator, plus Dispatch and Wobbly Life.
The Prime benefit has a clear boundary: it covers supported games on Luna’s Standard tier, not Amazon’s entire gaming catalogue.
GameNight adds board and social games for friends or family to play together in front of the television. The collection includes King of Tokyo and Bowling Mayhem. Cranium Planet and Clue are available too, along with Ticket to Ride and Taboo. Amazon has positioned its revamped Luna service around social play and family sessions, alongside cloud gaming.
Amazon announced the Prime Video integration in July 2026, initially for Fire TV users in the United States and the United Kingdom. On 19 October, it expanded access to Canada and France. Italy and Spain joined in the same rollout, taking the total to six countries. Spain is one of four markets in this expansion, rather than a standalone launch.
Amazon plans another expansion in November. Austria and Belgium are due to join, along with Germany and Luxembourg. The Netherlands and Poland are also on the schedule. Portugal and Sweden complete the planned additions.
After that rollout, Prime Video access to Luna is planned to cover 14 countries where the service is available. The full list includes the United States and the United Kingdom. Canada and Germany are included, as are France and Italy. Spain and Austria are on the list, along with Poland and the Netherlands. Belgium and Sweden complete the remaining pair, followed by Portugal and Luxembourg.
