Montero made Oques Grasses the night's main musical reference. The group is due to start its farewell concerts at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys on 5, 7, 9 and 10 October.
The audience could watch the show from both Nova Icària and Bogatell. The launch took place from the Bogatell side, while La Vanguardia identified Nova Icària as offering the clearest view.
Dulceida said several times during the broadcast that she was an Oques Grasses fan. Her outfit matched the seaside setting. She wore a fitted dress with a front section covered in golden scales. 3Cat and 20 Minutos identified Dulceida, whose name is Aida Domènech, as the presenter of the live TV3/3Cat coverage.
Her role also placed a familiar digital personality at the centre of TV3's biggest festive broadcast. That choice fits a wider television discussion about the value of recognisable faces, as examined in a recent Telecinco analysis.
The Catalan programme crossed generations. Adrià Puntí's Ull per ull and Joan Manuel Serrat's Fa vint anys que tinc vint anys appeared alongside Rita Payés' collaboration with Lau Noah and Elisabeth Roma on No és la llum. La Troba Kung-Fú also featured with Flor de primavera. Milionària returned two years after Rosalía included it in her own Piromusical selection.
The local focus did not shut out international music.
U2's With or without you and The Weeknd's Save your tears shared the programme with Regina Spektor's Après moi and Andrew Bird's The privateers. Aitana, Dua Lipa and Billie Eilish represented current pop. The final crescendo came with O Fortuna, the opening movement of Carmina Burana.
betevé also carried the Piromusical live for the first time. Its coverage ran on TDT, the station's website, app and La Xarxa+. It began at 21:30.
Barcelona's summer festival now ends with a clearer plan. Nova Icària made the seaside part of the event rather than a neutral backdrop. Montero's playlist put a recognisable Catalan centre at the heart of the fireworks, while keeping international pop in the programme. The next guest city will be Ciudad de México in 2027, mayor Jaume Collboni announced in an interview with Betevé.
The finale was more than a routine closing show. It showed how Barcelona wants its major public celebrations to sound and look.
