Gonzalo Sanz will appear before the Audiencia Nacional as a witness. He says he passed a CNI warning to Ceuta's government delegate before the mass entry. The local police chief will also testify.

Sanz is due before the judge at 12.00 this Thursday. Two hours earlier, Sebastián Vega will testify about his work as head of Ceuta's Local Police during the events under investigation. Their statements will address what officials knew before the entry and how they handled that information.

The court is examining whether Sanz passed on CNI information about a possible assault, as he said in his resignation letter. The testimony forms part of María Tardón's investigation into the events of 30 and 31 July.

The warning reached Ceuta's Government Delegation before the mass entry into the city. The question is clear.
