RTVE has announced that Gonzalo Miró and Ane Ibarzabal will present Malas Lenguas while Jesús Cintora is on summer leave. The transition starts this Monday, keeping one of the broadcaster’s current-affairs formats on air during the holiday period.
Miró, already known to viewers for his role on La 1’s Directo al grano, will lead Malas Lenguas. He will be joined by Ane Ibarzabal, a journalist with a strong background in news and presenting who has been part of the programme’s editorial team since its inception. Together, they will anchor the weekday programme on La 1 and La 2, as well as Malas Lenguas Noche, which occupies the Saturday-night slot on La 2.
RTVE’s listings show the franchise across La 1 and La 2, with Malas Lenguas scheduled at 17:45 on La 2 and 19:35 on La 1 in listed editions. Malas Lenguas Noche is also listed at 21:00 on La 2 and 21:30 on La 1. The broadcaster’s listings associate the night edition with Jesús Cintora, confirming its place in RTVE’s schedule.
The change comes as Spanish television makes seasonal programming adjustments. Handing Malas Lenguas to Miró and Ibarzabal keeps the programme running while its regular host is away for the summer. Established line-ups often change temporarily in other regions, too.
