The 20 car points offer charging from 90 to 400 kW, alongside two dedicated truck chargers. All 22 are available around the clock throughout the year on the Madrid–Valencia route.
Cars on the A-3 can draw between 90 and 400 kW at Honrubia, where a new installation also offers dedicated truck charging. The site is the Moya Hub Honrubia at the Moya Hotel Restaurante in Cuenca.
It has 20 charging points for passenger cars and two for trucks. Its operators call it the largest ultrafast charging station on the Autovía del Este.
The car chargers use CCS2 connectors and draw power from nine modules made by Spanish manufacturer Power Electronics. Their 90–400 kW range is designed for newer vehicles with 800-volt architectures, which can use higher charging power.
The truck chargers add capacity at a location linking Madrid’s major logistics parks with several leading Spanish ports, including Valencia and Sagunto, as well as Alicante and Cartagena. Another Spanish installation, Electra’s Sant Quirze hub, opened with six ultrafast points and room to expand to twelve.
All 22 chargers are available 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Drivers can start a session by scanning a charger’s QR code or using apps such as Electromaps. Contactless credit or debit card payment is also accepted.
