Lancia has unveiled the Gamma 2026—a coupe-style SUV set to become the brand’s new flagship and a symbol of its return to the European market. The model combines striking design, advanced technology, and a broad range of powertrains, including hybrid and fully electric versions.
The exterior of the Gamma 2026 immediately stands out among competitors: a continuous LED strip at the front, glossy black accents, and a dynamic coupe-like silhouette. The side profile features a long hood, flush door handles, and large wheel arches. The rear is styled in line with Lancia’s new models—with a T-shaped light signature, sharply raked rear glass, and an integrated spoiler. The car’s dimensions are 4.66 m long, 1.89 m wide, and 1.66 m high, making the Gamma slightly larger than the Peugeot 3008, with which it shares its platform and some technologies.
The interior is designed in a minimalist style: a three-spoke steering wheel with a flat bottom, a digital instrument cluster, a wide central console, and a panoramic roof. The central display is seamlessly integrated into the dashboard, while the styling of the doors and seats emphasizes the model’s premium character.
Technical details
The Gamma 2026 will be available in several versions. The base hybrid is equipped with a 1.2-liter gasoline engine and a mild hybrid system (MHEV), with a total output of 145 hp. According to the manufacturer, the range on a single tank exceeds 1,000 km.
The electric lineup includes three variants: the entry-level with 230 hp and a range of over 540 km, the mid-range — 245 hp and a segment-leading 740 km, and the top all-wheel drive version with two electric motors, 375 hp, and 675 km of autonomy. All versions are built on Stellantis' STLA Medium platform, which provides modern electronics and a high level of safety.
Production and sales launch
Assembly of the Gamma 2026 is organized at the Stellantis factory in Melfi, Italy. Orders for the new model will open after summer, with prices and trim levels to be announced closer to sales launch.
